• We had to change rooms mid-week due to availability and for us, the jacuzzi room with no view turned out to be our favorite. (The other room we stayed in was [a Jr Suite w/Kitchenette] near the pool which has a queen bed and trundle as well as a table for 4 and kitchen area which is probably perfect for a family or someone who doesnt want stairs )... • We stayed in the ocean view rm 301, our friends in a garden view [Jr Suite w/Kitchenette]. We each go to see each others rooms and agreed the garden view would be our choice next time. • Wanted to take my wife and kids (9 & 6) to somewhere warm and with great beaches. Playa Del Carmen was great. What made the trip even better was staying at Playa Maya. • Since this stay was for a greater length of time, my husband and I opted for this extra space and we were not disappointed. The suite is located in front of the hotel entrance near the pool. We had a kitchen area complete with coffeemaker, fridge, and microwave, as well as dishes and storage containers ... and even had a canister of coffee for us to use. Closet space was ample and we could easily unpack and settle in. Noise was never a factor, and we enjoyed the close proximity to the pool and sundeck.  CTCOUPLE137, TripAdvisor, June 2010
