We just came back from six nights at the Playa Maya. Having two kids ages 12 & 13, we were initially disappointed to learn the family suite was booked, however, the economy suite suggested by Stephen turned out to be perfect. We had two rooms with two baths and four beds! No, there wasn't a view from our room, but we spent the entire day sitting on the beach so we didn't care. Room was much larger than others I have stayed in and the beds were very comfortable. Small refrigerator was stocked with different types of soda, a few beers and large bottle of water. Bathroom and shower was perfect size. Never had an issue with water pressure or hot water. I couldn’t get over how clean the room was. I always seem to find something wrong with a room and I could truthfully say I don’t have one complaint. Juan did a wonderful job keeping our room spotless and making the most beautiful towel art.
